POLICE are looking for three teenagers who assaulted the owner and manager before robbing CYC Market in Kagman 3 on Thursday night.
Both victims were released after treatment of their minor injuries caused by the suspects hitting them with sticks, according to Department of Public Safety spokesman PO2 Eric F. David.
Police said the store owner, identified only as Mrs. Ayuyu, was about to close the store, when three masked men entered and demanded money from her.
A suspect ran behind the counter and struck her back with a stick. She fell to the floor.
The store owner then saw the masked man reaching into the cash register and taking all the money before fleeing the scene while leaving the other two suspects behind.
Minutes later, the store manager, identified by police as Mr. Zheng, came out of the back room, went into the store, and found Ayuyu on the floor behind the cash register.
Ayuyu informed Zheng about the incident and the two suspects in the store promises.
Zheng later found the robbers who then hit him with sticks before running out the store.
